One of the most beautiful cities of Veneto, Padua, is distant only a few minutes from the Colonna Hotel, that's famous for the St. Anthony Basilica but also for Prato della Valle, one of the widest square of Italy and Europe too. You must take a coffee at Caffè Pedrocchi, visit the famous marketplaces and Giotto's Cappella degli Scrovegni.You can also visit Venice, the wonderful city on the water with its lanes, bridges and museums, distant only about 30 minutes from the Hotel.
Finally Abano and Montegrotto Terme distant 15 minutes from the Hotel, where you can taste delicious ice-creams and relax in the famous termal baths and Spa. If you arrive at the Hotel by car, you can go to Arquà Petrarca, where Francesco Petrarca lived for his last years before dying, distant only 20 kilometers.
